With precise and clean lines, the Basket Pendant Light delivers a cool contemporary feel to any room! These lights are handmade, white art-glass curved elements with powder printed graphic line designs, and are mounted on a laser cut welded steel frame. Each pendant light measures 7.5” in diameter and are 13” long.
Our lights are completely handmade in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Each light comes with an 15 foot cord with integrated switch and plug, and can be easily converted for in-ceiling hardwiring. Please contact the shop for ceiling kits if needed. These pendant lights accommodate any wattage standard light bulb, but bulb is not included.
Powder Printing is an adaptation of screen printing techniques that replaces ink and paper with powdered glass and sheet glass. A prepared screen is placed above a layer of flat sheet glass, and I create the image by forcing powdered colored glass through the screens onto the sheet glass, which becomes the canvas for the design. When fired in the kiln, the glass particles fuse together, and pieces can then be used as panels or set up over ceramic or metal forms and heated until they slump into a desired shape.
